SHEIN Helper privacy policy

Information we handle

SHEIN Helper handles only the information needed to provide its features and protect its activation system:

• Activation code, extension version, and a randomly generated installation ID. These are sent over HTTPS to our licensing service to activate and verify a license.
• Your chosen review text, selected image, and extension settings. These are stored locally in Chrome so the extension can remember them between sessions.
• The current SHEIN review page and form fields. The extension reads and updates the page locally to provide its user-facing functionality; this page content is not sent to our licensing service.

How we use information

We use the information above only to operate, maintain, secure, and improve SHEIN Helper, including license activation, device binding, license status checks, and saving your selected settings.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell user data or use it for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or lending. License-related information is shared with Supabase, our licensing-service provider, only when needed to activate or verify a license. We do not send your review text or selected image to that service.

Storage and deletion

Settings and activation state stored by Chrome remain on your device until you remove them, clear the extension data, or uninstall the extension. License records may be retained for license administration and security. To ask a question or request deletion of license-related information, contact us using the details below.

Security

License requests are transmitted over HTTPS. We limit the information sent to our licensing service to what is necessary for activation and verification, and we do not ask for your SHEIN password or payment details.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the extension or its data practices change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
